Gasification

Combustion of fuel in boilers LADAN differs from the one in standard boilers.

Log wood is dried up in a loading chamber first and gas evolves subsequently. The gas assisted with a primary air is blasted into the fireproof concrete nozzle in which it is mixed with a preheated secondary air. Subsequently the mixture burns. Burning in the combustion chamber creates a temperature around 800 to 1000 °C. Boiler exhaust gas is carried off through the tubular boiler heat exchanger to the chimney pipe and chimney.

Fuel for boilers LADAN:
Boilers LADAN are built for dry log wood with max. 20 % humidity. It is also possible to use sawdust, wood chips or wood patent fuel but only on a layer of log wood. It is recommended to use the conifer wood instead of hard wood. Hard wood contains bigger volume of aggressive acids than conifer wood.
